Doctor Who Cosplay

Made and put together during 2020.

"Doctor Who" is the longest running science fiction show. Based around an alien called The Doctor, a time lord who rides around the universe in his time travel machine (the TARDIS) , they are able to change their face before dying and reincarnate their bodies. Accompanied by human companions, they travel through time and space to explore and save those in need from eminent threats.

This cosplay is based on the longest running Doctor, the Fourth Doctor, from the classic series. I chose to recreate his tan coat with his usual vest and purple pants. The tan jacket is made of natural wovens, with a gold lining, leather collar and cuffs, and TARDIS cotton fabric for the pockets and underside of the collar. The vest is a plaid wool, which I pattern matched at the seams and front overlap, and featured brown buttons. It was lined with the cotton TARDIS fabric. The purple pants were also a wool, fastened with a zipper and button. The white shirt was thrifted. The scarf was hand knit by me with a BBC pattern and made of wool yarn.
