Reynisfjara Collection F/W 2019

Presented at the St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology during their Atelier Fashion Show event

(Saturday, April 27th, 2019).

 

This was my senior year final project, which had to include research, tech packs, designs, and pieces all made by myself. Monitored by teachers and presented to industry professionals, the designs were displayed on the runway and rated by judges at the end. The judges put me in third place for my five look collection.

Inspired by the landscape of Iceland (hence the collection named after a black sand beach on the island), natural color schemes, and 1970's silhouettes, the collection featured base flared knit pants and cream turtleneck shirts. Signature pieces included the fur scale gold jacket, gold and navy brocade overalls, and the gold silk dupioni dress.
